About as far to the north of the Perth CBD as the Motorplex is to the south, Allwest Plant Hire – Ellenbrook Speedway is gearing up for another winter season of racing that commences next month.

After an extremely successful 2020 season, the venue is looking a picture thanks to an ongoing series of upgrades. The wall and safety fence were refreshed, a concrete pole line and viewing platform installed, and many areas were paved to high standard. Fans responded with record crowds, and the club is in a good financial position with another packed calendar of events in 2021.

One of the prize amenities at the 4-star rated track is the Racing Drivers Association of WA clubrooms, which Speedway Australia was grateful to utilise last night for a well-attended metro forum. A big thank you to the five tracks and nine divisional bodies who gathered to reflect on the 2020/21 season and plan for the future, in a congenial environment.
